Father Stevenson's
Invitation to the
Heavenly Banquet

Fr. had been computer geeking
around and cranked out a few
of these invitations one weekend
before Sunday Mass a few years
ago. It just so happened that the
Gospel Reading for that Sunday
was the Parable of the
Wedding Feast.
<MT 22:1-14>

... I also saw the holy city,
a new Jerusalem, coming
down out of heaven from God,
prepared as a bride adorned
for her husband ...
REV 21:2

RV 21:2 *<1> New Jerusalem
... bride: symbol of the Church
(Gal 4:26); see note on
Rev 19:7.

Faithfully every Sunday since
1906, St. Aloysius Catholic Church
has served Christ's invitation to His
Banquet on earth, that foretaste of
heaven present in the memorial of

His Life, Death and Resurrection
called the Mass.

Christ and His Bride, the Church or the People of God, is a marriage one can anticipate not being vulnerable to today's 50% divorce rate...because God is the sort of Spouse you always dreamed you'd meet someday.

Say "I do!" and be glad you did.

Wedding Garments available at Holy Door.
